Levi Ramsey

Guitar teacher

Levi’s music career began with a bang - literally - when he won the “Reidy’s Got Talent’ contest in year 2, where he had composed his own drum solo - yes, drum solo! From there, he switched over to guitar, and ‘hasn’t looked back’ as they say. Levi comes from a musical family, with Dad having completed a Jazz degree and played music his whole life, and Levi’s older brother an accomplished drummer. Levi performs regularly, whether as part of an original 3 piece funk/rock band, or as a regular member of his church’s music team - with styles spanning pop, ballad, and rock, and including guitar solos.

Guitar influences to date include Eddie Van Halen, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Andy James, Jason Richardson, Itchika Nito, Marco Sfogli, and Tom Quayle. Other musical influences include Vulfpeck, Lecrae, and Toby Mac.

Levi also composes his own trap/hip hop beats in Logic X, and has even been known to record his own rap style lyrics over the top.
